Post-Platforms project promises to get rid of 20% margin – which all hotels pay now to booking systems – via introduction of competition to booking platforms. Our solution may remind Channel Managers, but it will be free and open Web 3 standard from W3C. It is based on work of Tim Berners-Lee, the founder of Web.
The idea is simple: hotels should not publish their content with platforms, but keep it at their own web sites, called PODs. Platforms will take it from PODs, as well as any update.
Most probably it will be integrated into your hotel’s ERP. It also will make sure that all likes and feedback from your users at all platforms will land at your hotel’s POD, making hotels more independent from booking platforms.
